Coaching and Mentoring for business leaders
Why consider it at all?
Executive coaching and/or mentoring is all about boosting leadership effectiveness by providing intense, 1:1 (or group), tailored support.
It’s all about you - your leadership, your agenda, your actions, your motivations. The discussion belongs to the client - as do the outcomes.
It can be truly transformative. At your best, you can be truly transformative.
In session, we discuss business and personal challenges, and explore innovative solutions. We debate the biggest challenges and opportunities. Clients reflect on their leadership style and think through how to be even more successful.
The best environments are a safe but challenging space with an independent 3rd party who promotes independent thought rather than shares their own ideas.
Who am I?
An experienced coach, mentor and senior exec with a 30+ year career in branded, global organisations.
A passionate believer in leadership development and the power of individuals to plot their own course.
I am devoted to helping individuals and teams perform at their best.
Why me?
Because I have a track-record in business and as a qualified coach.
Because I have faced some of the key challenges we discuss in session.
Because, through a strengths-based approach to questioning, I believe I can help unlock the next level of the innate talent of successful leaders.
I try to ask those impactful questions that require thought and reflection.
The best outcomes stem from a genuine chemistry between coach/mentor and client. As such, I prioritise a strong personal connection.
How does it normally work?
Our set-up is really important. We agree the foundation-stones of how we are going to work together. Naturally, things change, but a clear definition before the first session is very helpful.
A typical program of work:
1 free session to determine the chemistry between us
12 sessions over 6-9 months
Usually an hour, but up to 2 hours when required
Often face-to-face to begin with and then remotely
I’m available … off the clock … outside of pre-booked sessions
Clients set their parameters and their objectives in session 1
As required, I can conduct 360 sessions with colleagues and provide feedback
And then the agenda for each session is led by the client - it’s all about the client, not about me
